Taylor Swifts Got Talent

Talented may be a slight understatement when referring to the queen of pop music. Taylor Swift is more than just your everyday talent, she is in my honest opinion, one of the most talented people on the face of the planet. Did I really just say that? Yes. Let me tell you why I truly think this.
Taylor Swift was singing in local coffee shops by age 10. She learned how to play the guitar at age 12, and began writing her own music. Since then, she has learned two other instruments, and continues to write most of her own songs. Not only is Taylor Swift  responsible for writing most of her own music to this day, but she produces her own music videos. She is also responsible for creating her own fan base and social media accounts that have gained her millions of followers, and insane popularity.
So let's recap. Taylor is writing her own songs, creating her own music, producing and preforming in her own music videos, all while being on a world tour performing at least three times a week. If that's not talent, I don't know what is.
So how do we strive to be a little more like Taylor this week? We simply learn three musical instruments, write over 200 hundred songs, and gain enough fan base that we get paid millions of dollars to tour the world. Easy right? Wrong.

Trying to obtain something like Taylor's natural knack for talent isn't about being as talented as her in the exact same ways as her. It is about finding what we are good at, finding what we love to do, and going for it. We can't hide our talents. So while trying to improve upon my dance skills and vocal chords this week, I learned that despite the fact I'm just short of moves like Jagger, being a pop star might not be my calling in life. I found things that I love to do and things that I feel like I am good at and I worked really hard to expound upon those things. So here's the challenge of the week everybody, ask yourselves "what would Taylor do?". Then go find your talents and make your Wildest Dreams come true, because I know All Too Well that it's what Taylor would do.
